Introduction to The Drug Bank Trust
DRUG BANK TRUST, Shri M.P.Shah Medical College, Jamnagar(INDIA) - is a voluntary organization founded and run by the students and staff members of Shri M.P. Shah Medical College and G. G. Hospital, Jamnagar.
Founded on the auspicious day of 15th August 1980(INDEPENDENCE DAY OF INDIA), this organisation is striving to provide costly and life saving medications FREE to patients being treated at G.G.H. Jamnagar. To see the activity live,visit the DRUG BANK TRUST at O.P.D. No. 22, G.G.H., Jamnagar between 5 and 6 p.m. on any working day.
It has provided valuable services to the victims of earthquake in the year 2001.
Drug bank volunteer also organize MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE EXHIBITIONS for general public and school children once in every three yrs. to dissipate the primary lessons in hygiene and general health.
It is here only that you will learn about other activities like PRABHAT and Blood Donors Association and will certainly realize that budding doctors fully realize and fulfill their social obligations.
If you want to help this activity, you can send CASH/CHEQUE/DD or DRUG SAMPLES or simply adopt the patients of diabetes, cancer and epilepsy.
